About Us
NxtMmedias Digital Media Productions, founded by Phillip Sierra in 2010 in El Paso, TX. The company is dedicated to empowering small businesses through a comprehensive suite of digital media services. From its humble beginnings in 2010, NXTmedias has grown into a dynamic company, deeply committed to providing small businesses and organizations with the tools they need to succeed in the competitive digital landscape.
Phillip Sierra, a Colombian-American, launched NxtMedias after a pivotal experience streaming a live event in the Dominican Republic while still a journalism student. He was in charge of setting up what would become one of the first live-streamed events for the Internation Panel Physicians Associaton. His career path, which includes a journalism degree from New Mexico State University, a master’s in Health Communications from Northwestern University, and roles as Associate Executive Producer for 640 AM BM Radio with "Fusion Radio" and for Megaradio Network's "La Deportiva where he produced and hosted "Hablando de Pelotas". Sierra also worked as the Assistant News Director for Univision El Paso KINT and Executive Producer for NBC Universal’s WSNS in Chicago. His professional career has been marked by dedication and excellence, earning him four Emmy awards along the way. He is the current CEO of NextMedias
The true transformation of NxtMedias began when Sierra partnered with María Jimena Sánchez in 2024. Sanchez is a renowned expert in digital marketing and multimedia production. With over 12 years of experience across branding, graphic design, UI/UX, and digital marketing strategies, Sánchez has shaped campaigns in Dubai, the US, Colombia, and Chile. Her expertise has been recognized with the CUN Award for Women in Digital Entrepreneurship in 2014, and her passion for innovation continues to drive NxtMedias forward. Sanchez is the current SVP of Digital Marketing and Strategies for NxtMedias.
Carolina Cortes is a Colombian sales professional with extensive experience in B2B sales, customer relations and growth strategies. She worked with AFP for several years in LATAM generating millions of dollars with her excellent customer relationship management and dedicated commitment to excellence and efficiency. She has worked with clients in Chile, Colombia, Spain, Brazil, Mexico and many other countries around the globe. Carolina is the current Acting CSO for NextMedias.
